Each caregiver is subject to a thorough initial phone screening, detailed knowledge testing, face-to-face interview, background check, state medical board checks for any disciplinary actions or filings, drug screening, driving history review and mandatory orientation prior to their start with our agency.
During the orientation process, caregivers are well informed
of the care standards expected from our agency and our clients. They are also trained in HIPAA standards and guidelines, along with other pertinent infection control and emergency preparedness topics.
We want to ensure we are sending only the caregivers we know can be trusted and who will provide the most deliberate and caring services possible.
Once employed, our caregiver are required to participate in regular trainings and courses that allow them to stay up to date with the most recent health related practices and techniques. We have regular performance reviews for each of our caregivers to ensure standards are being successfully met and maintained.
